The Staircase Gig was recorded live in Wolfson Staircase 6, St Hugh's College, Oxford on 13 May 2009 in front of a small crowd and originally released as a series of 10 limited edition handmade CD-Rs and given out free to friends of the band. The performance features Matthew Scroggs (guitar, recorder, singing saw) and James Tweedie (vocals, cornet, sewing machine).
